Junoflo & ØZI rev up kingpin flows on ‘Kawasaki’
Both MCs switch cadences mid-verse over a sleek, high-octane beat
Motorcycles have always had a place in Hip Hop mythology. Outlaw machines pair naturally with outlaw music, and some videos are forever tied to the bikes that powered them. Who could forget Puff Daddy tumbling off a motorcycle in ‘Missing You,’ or the wild pack energy of DMX and the Ruff Ryders tearing through the streets on ‘Ruff Ryders’ Anthem’?
Now Junoflo and ØZI take their turn in the saddle with ‘Kawasaki.’ While some critics crack jokes about crotch rockets, Junoflo flips the narrative with a slick punchline, bragging that he needs women who ride him like a Kawasaki.
Both MCs keep things dynamic by switching up their flows mid-verse, bending their cadences in a way that nods to Kendrick Lamar’s shape-shifting style while still sounding entirely their own. The result is a performance that feels fast, sharp, and constantly accelerating.
In the video, Junoflo rocks a 47 Ronin jersey, referencing the legendary band of samurai who avenged their fallen master in 1703. The look fits perfectly with the video’s sleek cyberpunk aesthetic. ØZI never physically appears on screen, but creative visuals, including a helmeted figure delivering his verse, make his presence felt throughout.
