‘Snow Punk Punk’ sets the tone for SLOPE, the collaborative album between South Korean rapper jayho and producer iDeal. As the project’s lead single, it’s the perfect appetizer for the record’s psychedelic trip.

Built on a woozy Trap beat, the track moves at a steady pace. iDeal’s production stays soft around the edges, letting the synths blur and the bass hum. Over it, jayho keeps the same cadence and flow for most of the three minutes. On paper, that might sound limiting, but in practice it becomes the song’s hook. The repetition settles into the ear, making the track feel hypnotic.

What carries ‘Snow Punk Punk’ is jayho’s presence. His delivery doesn’t spike in energy or chase big moments. Instead, he glides through the beat with a calm confidence, letting tone and timing do the work. That restraint is what makes the song stick. The lack of urgency becomes its own form of charisma.

That same mindset runs through SLOPE. The album stays rooted in psychedelic textures, drawing clear influence from early Travis Scott-era atmospherics, but filtering them through a Pop-leaning lens. The songs favor mood over structure, creating a cohesive listen that feels less like a collection of tracks and more like a single, extended headspace.
