A few weeks ago, MNET released a mysterious trailer for a new show called RAP:PUBLIC by the crew that is behind the Show Me The Money series. While the teaser didn’t offer much, a recently released trailer shows that a legend of Asian Hip Hop, Jay Park, will be at the forefront of the program.

Not much else is known about the show starting in October, because all the other contestants are cloaked in mysterious robes and masks giving it a Halloween mixed with Squid Game vibe. They are advertising it as something that no one has ever seen before, so there is good potential there since Hip Hop reality shows are stagnating a bit.

In a press release, Jay Park said, “As someone who is more sincere than anyone about Hip Hop music and culture, I was happy to see new Hip Hop content with a sense of scale coming out. I decided to join because I thought it would be an opportunity to create and gain good energy with rappers who are leading the scene.”
