Klap Ya Handz’s Izame Siva & 4mara jump on that Afrobeats groove with ‘YEH’
Put this song on & it’s summertime anywhere in the world
When Afrobeats started popping off a few years back, one of the biggest songs in the genre was ‘Ye’ by Burna Boy. The chorus didn’t need deep words. Instead, it just needed that vibe of self-motivation. Over and over it repeated, “Ye” 40 times, which worked because the song got embedded into people’s brains as soon as they heard it one time.
Klap Ya Handz’s Izame Siva and 4mara recently dropped ‘YEH’ and it gives the same vibes. On the hook, instead of 40 times, they only go 12, but it still embeds nicely and turns anywhere into summertime as soon as the song is played.
4mara is up first and his flow is half Reggae half Afrobeats, which sounds great for a Cambodian artist. On the second verse, Izame floats perfectly switching between English and Patois. Both MCs are showing that they are living a good life, and once you listen to the jam, you will be, too.
YEH YEH YEH YEH.
