If there has been an official anthem for getting the party turned up in Asia for the past six years, then Ferg’s ‘Plain Jane’ has to be it. As soon as the chorus kicks in, “Ride with the mob/Alhamdulillah/Check in with me and do your job/Ferg is the name/Ben Baller did the chain/Tourneau for the watch/Presi Plain Jane,” all hell breaks loose on every dancefloor and each person in the club thinks they are in the VVIP. So it’s only fitting that Ferg brings that energy to Taiwan this year at the So Wonderful festival at the Taoyuan Sunlight Arena on June 3.

Trap God Ferg had been an integral part of the rise of A$AP Mob from the early 2010s. Even though he is no longer an affiliate with the crew, he still has a big string of hits including ‘Work,’ ‘Shabba,’ ‘New Level,’ and ‘Dreams, Fairytales, and Fantasies’ to fill out a festival set. Ferg has been one of the top names on a lot of Rolling Loud shows, including the Thailand festival.

The So Wonderful festival is promoting itself as the first cross-genre music festival in Taiwan. BigBang’s Taeyang will headline with K-pop magic, LØREN will be coming [almost] straight from the stages of Coachella, while Jeremy Zucker and Peder Elias show why they are some of the most amazing singer-songwriters in the business today.

Straight from the finals, three MCs from MTV’s The Rappers Season 2 will be representing Taiwan Hip Hop - Suhf, Rex, and Gummy B, while DJ Mr. Skin brings his Mandarin Homework party to a bigger stage.

The So Wonderful Festival has a little something for everyone, and that is going to be special in Taiwan.
