Headliners include Quavo, Metro Boomin, DigiGhetto, ¥ellow Bucks, MC Jin, Zico & more

Last year, the first-ever non-US ComplexCon was held in Hong Kong. By all metrics, the three-day festival was a huge success with 21 Savage, AMOG family, and 3CORNERZ atop the bill, more than 30,000 people came through to enjoy the music, fashion, and art.

This year’s ComplexCon will be held from March 21 to March 23 and includes Quavo from The Migos, Metro Boomin, China’s DigiGhetto, Japan’s ¥ellow Bucks, MC Jin, K-hop’s Zico, Sik-K, Lil Moshpit, and more. The event is getting bigger as it secured nearly US$2 million from the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund, which has been helping promote Hong Kong tourism after COVID-19. The festival will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo again this year, with four halls instead of three, a bigger venue for the Hip Hop shows, and an expected increase of 20 percent in attendance for locals and tourists.

With Asia being a battlefield for huge events, Hong Kong is situated nicely because of its strong international reputation. Also, since Korean performers have been banned from playing in China since 2017, people could come to Hong Kong to see some of their favorite acts close to home.
