Wherever CAMO goes a party will follow on ‘JYP’

The Korean rapper turns Kid Hazel’s beat into a playful tribute to JYP

Three months ago, CAMO dropped her no-skips EP Secrets. Across seven solo tracks with zero guest features, she flexes her range on cuts like ‘Secret’ and ‘You [ㅠ].’ While the project made serious noise, most Hip Hop heads singled out ‘JYP’ as the instant turn-up moment. Yesterday, CAMO finally delivered the visuals for the standout track.

The beat for ‘JYP’ comes from Kid Hazel, one of the in-house producers in 21 Savage’s camp. You can hear the Atlanta DNA immediately because it’s the kind of beat 21 Savage could slide on effortlessly. Instead, CAMO flips it into something lighter and cheekier, using the instrumental as a playful backdrop to pay homage to Park Jin-young, one of Korea’s biggest entertainers, affectionately known as JYP.

In the video, CAMO bounces through a series of off-kilter party scenes, rapping her way into every room she enters. One moment she’s isolated among mannequins, the next she’s squeezed into the back of a limo with drag queens. The energy never dips. Wherever CAMO pulls up, the vibe shifts and ‘JYP’ becomes the soundtrack to a moving party.
