Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one of the GOATs of the NBA. Bruce Lee was one of the GOATs of martial arts movies. When they got together for a fight sequence in the 1978 film Game of Death, it was a clash of the titans because Kareem was 218 centimeters and Bruce was only 172.

In real life, the two men were great friends, and they trained together, turning Kareem into an unstoppable force in basketball. Adidas recently announced that the new Jabbar Lo shoe would be introduced with a yellow and black colorway, honoring Bruce’s iconic jumpsuit from Game of Death.

The yellow sneaker will be a fuzzy suede and will feature Bruce’s jumpkick on the back and signature on the heel. On the insole, Kareem will strike a fighting pose. The shoes are expected to be released to the general public by August 30 of this year.
