For the past decade, ANTZ has been a graffiti artist in Singapore doing visual storytelling and illustration. His Urban Monkey series has appeared all over Asia, North America, and Europe, and focuses on Chinese mythology mixed with contemporary design.

For the first time ever, ANTZ is having a solo show at the Gillman Barracks to coincide with Singapore Art Week 2026 called The Last Tree Was a Building and Field Test. For The Last Tree Was a Building, around the compound, there are four giant inflatable monkeys that get visitors to reconsider how humans and nature coexist. In Field Test, visitors will go inside ANTZ’s creative world. It’s here where people will see sketches, paintings, and even get to buy some merch from the artist.

ANTZ is excited for people to see the artists behind the monkeys on his first solo show. He said, “You’ll get to experience the sound, the smell, and the environment I work in.”

The Last Tree Was a Building and Field Test at the Gillman Barracks [7 Lock Road] in Singapore until February 8, 2026.
