Supreme & Wu-Tang drop fall collection inspired by 1993
Ghostface Killah remixes the classic ‘C.R.E.A.M.’
Any Hip Hop head worth their weight in salt will automatically stop once the keys start on Wu-Tang Clan’s classic ode to the mighty dollar, ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ On October 28, Supreme dropped a post on Instagram that was aimed to stop the scroll as Ghostface Killah, decked out in an all-white hoodie and a covering blanking out his face, dropped a new verse on one of the greatest beats of all time.
Of course, just doing a remix wasn’t the only plan. Supreme has teamed up with Wu to drop a fall collection of goodies inspired by the collective debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang [36 Chambers.’ From skateboards and GORE-TEX jackets to hoodies and hockey jerseys, this drop has a lot for fans of the Wu.
When Enter the Wu-Tang dropped in 1993, things changed in an instant. The glittery West Coast sound that had been dominating the Hip Hop airwaves soon turned grimy and more street. New York was in the building, and there were 9 soldiers ready to ride or die. The Supreme drop has that same vibe with modern-day kung fu flair.
