Sik-K & Dean bring the heat with ‘STAY on FIRE’
Two of Korea’s smoothest voices blur the line between Rap and R&B
Back in February, Sik-K had a dominant night at the Korean Hip Hop Music Awards 2026. He won five awards–Artist of the Year, Label of the Year, Hip Hop Album of the Year, Hip Hop Track of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year. This put him in rare air and planted him firmly at the top of the Korean Hip Hop pyramid for now.
Instead of letting that moment cool off, Sik-K keeps the flame roaring with his latest single, ‘STAY on FIRE,’ bringing Dean along to turn the temperature up even higher.
The track blurs the lines between K-Hip Hop and K-R&B in the way modern Korean music does best. Sik-K opens the song with a melodic delivery that sits right on the border between rapping and singing. When Dean steps in, the roles flip and his silky vocals carry a rhythmic cadence that almost feels like rapping. It’s the perfect juxtaposition for a moment in music where rappers sing and singers rap without worrying about genre labels.
While the lyrics revolve around keeping the flame alive in a relationship, the collaboration itself reflects the same idea. Sik-K is blazing across the charts, while Dean appears to be gearing up for a major comeback in 2026.
