From rivalry to revelry: Yo Yo Honey Singh & Bohemia shine on ‘Sawaal Puchdi’

The track is from Yo Yo Honey Singh’s marathon of music 51 Glorious Days

At the end of September, Yo Yo Honey Singh pulled off something no other artist has attempted—51 Glorious Days, a 51-track marathon that stretches nearly three hours. Packed with Hip Hop, Pop, and Punjabi bangers, the project features a superstar roster including AP Dhillon, Nora Fatehi, Alfaaz, and most shockingly, Bohemia. The album not only crushed streaming records, it cemented Singh’s legacy in the pantheon of Indian music.

One of the biggest surprises is ‘Sawaal Puchdi,’ a long-awaited collab with Bohemia, who for years publicly questioned Singh’s Hip Hop street cred. While the beef thawed long ago, and some of it was arguably engineered for the media, seeing the two pioneers finally link up feels monumental for Indian Hip Hop fans. Now, the track has an extravagant video to match.

As expected from Singh, the production is maximalist with rooftop flexing, poolside scenes, and mega-yachts stacked with 20 dancers at every turn. It’s a spectacle, but also a moment in history as two former rivals united on a track that bridges eras and audiences.
