Post Malone postpones Asia tour; Bruno Mars adds dates

Live Nation had a busy day with announcements

Post Malone, the happy-go-lucky rapper turned Country star, has postponed the Asian, Australian, and New Zealand legs of his Big Stadium Tour. He was to play in Asia through September and hit Australia and New Zealand in October. Live Nation did not give a reason for the cancellations, but offered refunds wherever people bought their tickets. Even though this was announced as a postponement, a few shows like Singapore and Kaohsiung, Taiwan have been canceled, so most likely the reasoning is low ticket sales.

On the other end of the spectrum, Bruno Mars has added a slew of new tour dates for his album The Romantic in April and May. The global superstar has added 26 dates across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. In January, Bruno will play 12 dates all through Japan including Nagoya, Sapporo, Saitama, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo. In February and March, he’ll hit Australia and New Zealand, before landing in Singapore, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Manila, and Seoul.

While Bruno’s show is one of the best in the business, he’ll be joined by Anderson .Paak as opening act DJ Pee .Wee, as well as the duo with Bruno Mars, Silk Sonic. For fans of Funk and Hip Hop in Asia, this is a must-see show in every city.
