Hong Kong has a fair share of incredible rappers, even though it doesn’t feel like there are a lot of releases compared to places like Japan and Thailand. Even so, when the music is out, it’s dope, and on September 4, Novel Friday and Wolfe dropped something really fresh with ‘行事低調 LowKey.’

If someone put Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, and Playboi Carti in a blender, it would sound like this mix of Soundcloud and Rage Rap. On ‘行事低調 LowKey,’ it seems like both MCs are going at it. They rap, step to the back, and then come up to rap again with a renewed vengeance.

Novel Friday has been repping the Novel family for a while, but this is the first time that we’ve heard about Wolfe since he was featured on LiFTED in 2022. Both are repping Hong Kong’s finest Hip Hop label, Greytone, in the best way possible for 2026. The visual is sick, the rapping is next-level for this generation, and if there is more of this to come in the final few months of the year, there’s no way they will be staying ‘行事低調 LowKey.’
