Megan Thee Stallion is the first Black female on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 cover
“I’ll take a break when I’m dead.”
Megan Thee Stallion’s whirlwind career just keeps getting better and better. The last time we saw her on LiFTED, she was starring in and performing on Saturday Night Live, a feat that put her in rare air.
This week, Megan is again smashing glass ceilings with her Jimmy Choo high heels when she makes history as the first Black female cover star of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 issue. In it, she says, “I can’t slow down right now. I’ll take a break when I’m dead. I’m trying to really build something. When I start sitting, I feel like I’m not doing enough or I’m giving somebody else the opportunity to pass me.”
The article goes on to dissect Megan’s US$13 million in earnings for 2022 including sponsorships, live shows, royalties, and brand partnerships. Megan is so hot right now that even Drake is throwing shots at her on the biggest song on his latest album. Even though we’d love to see this Rap beef on wax, Megan barely has time for it as she only responded in tweets. Instead, she’s just working on being her.
