MCK continues his cinematic streak with ‘NHÌN KẺ THÙ CỦA TAO’
he Vietnamese rapper doubles down on bold visuals & an uncompromising creative vision
MCK has gone four for four on this album rollout. In April, he teased HVL by syncing eight iPhones into an immersive 360-degree album trailer. Last month, the Vietnamese rapper surprise-released the 30-track project, and has since followed it with three visually ambitious music videos, each written and directed by Phương Vũ of Antiantiart.
‘IDK’ leaned into anime-inspired vampire hunters, while ‘SLIPPERY,’ featuring TÙNG DƯƠNG, explored body transformation and identity dissolution inside a fictional psychological world. The latest chapter is ‘NHÌN KẺ THÙ CỦA TAO,’ which translates to ‘Look at My Enemy.’
Once again, the partnership between MCK and Phương Vũ delivers a striking visual experience. As MCK raps about people wanting to see him fail, the video unfolds like a dark personal odyssey, packed with gothic imagery and dramatic set pieces. The result is another ambitious entry in the HVL era, showcasing an artist with the confidence and creative freedom to fully commit to his own vision.
