The Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival in Hong Kong has gotten bigger each year since it started in 2008, and while eclectic lineups are a hallmark of the three-day event, there is always a dope Hip Hop element. Last March’s triumphant return after three years off due to Hong Kong protests and COVID-19 saw the festival close with Wu-Tang Clan’s historic live set with a full band, and 10,000 fans rhyming along with every chorus. With the city’s iconic skyline as the backdrop, it was one of the most memorable Hip Hop moments the city has ever experienced.

This Clockenflap will feature the return of The Daisy Age, with New York legends De La Soul, who also played at the festival in 2012. Over the years, the festival has hosted the likes of A$AP Rocky, M.I.A., The Sugar Hill Gang, Azealia Banks, Erykah Badu, and the Higher Brothers.

This year also marks the first time LiFTED will host the Friday, December 1 Official Afterparty at Soho House, with our special guest RAMENGVRL promising to touch the mic for a late set. Clockenflappers won’t want to miss this chance to catch one of Asia’s biggest MCs in a fun and intimate setting on the first-floor House Studio space.
