After taking a bit of time away from the spotlight, Jessi is back, and she’s got some words for the people who are spreading lies about her in ‘Newsflash.’ In 2024, Jessi’s friend hit a teenage fan that got too close to the superstar in a video caught on CCTV. Soon, rumors swirled that Jessi was covering up and being unkind to her fans. She issued an apology and then took a break.

In ‘Newflash,’ Jessi is the queen of the streets of New York City. She’s got people breaking their necks to see her and paparazzi following her around to bodegas, sticking mics in her face while she tries to get in yellow cabs, and even bothering her after she’s had a press conference. But the ‘Newsflash’ is that none of this matters as long as she can roll around NYC free as a bird.

Surprisingly, Jadakiss from The Lox shows up in the video. He doesn’t rap [‘Newsflash’ remix?], but he gets a lot of facetime with the Korean superstar as they pose and strut down an empty street in New York. Jada has been on a tear recently after beating the Diplomats in a Versus in COVID-19 times, so maybe he’s just keeping his name on the streets.
