After 12 years in the game and 10 albums under his belt, it’s far from GIRIBOY’s time to hang up his boots. Affectionately known by fans as the K-Hip Hustler by his fans, his undeniable work ethic has seen him evolve with the times – dabbling in every sound K-hop has offered and nailing them all. His latest endeavor, and first release under rising music label STANDARD FRIENDS, ‘Drive mE cRaZy,’ is a stellar entry into his ever-changing sound.

A more Pop-friendly affair than his last full-length album Novel in 2023, the single marks a new era for the rapper. Par for the course for the STANDARD FRIENDS label, ‘Drive mE cRaZy’ sees him experimenting with both Pop and Hip Hop, much like his labelmates Zion.T and Wonstein. On the track, he raps about losing his mind over bitter memories of an ex-lover. Trapped in his head, GIRIBOY raps and sings about his struggles to escape from his yearning for a better past.

Prior to the single’s release, GIRIBOY announced his signing to STANDARD FRIENDS at his concert PRBOY just a week ago, as he was joined onstage by Zion.T to help share the good news.

‘Drive mE cRaZy’ also comes with a music video that sees him trapped in the empty confines of his mind, where he has nothing but himself to blame for driving himself insane. He’s also joined by the South Korean actress, Dalgi Shim.
