Erykah Badu’s live shows have had profound effects on people’s lives. She’s a master at her craft, she loves getting the crowd involved, and her vibes are always on 11. Over the past few years, she has had Asian tour dates in Bali at Potatohead, where guests not only got to see her perform but were also invited to spend a week participating in meditations and morning sessions with the Neo-Soul queen.

At the end of June, she’s returning to Asia by way of Japan, and this time she’s bringing notable beatsmith, The Alchemist, on the Abi & Alan tour. This fascinating pairing is the first time the two artists have shared a stage together and Alchemist wrote on his social media, “Had to pinch myself.”

One June 24, the duo will be at Billboard Live Osaka. One June 28, they will be at Billboard Live Tokyo, and on June 30, they will perform at KT Zepp in Yokohama. While it’s a short and sweet string of dates, LiFTED hopes that the two will perform some new music from the joint album they’ve been rumored to be working on.
