The full line-up for Clockenflap has been released and for Hip Hop lovers, it’s time to celebrate because the legendary De La Soul has been added to the lineup. Other Hip Hop acts include BBNO$ and Lexie Liu.

Legends in the Hip Hop scene from nearly the beginning, De La Soul has been making important Hip Hop music since the mid-1980s. It’s been a rough year for the crew as Plug 1 aka Trugoy aka David Jolicoeur passed away in February. The crew had a life celebration/wake/party for the ages in April with all the great names in Hip Hop showing up and showing out for one of the most groundbreaking artists of all time.

De La Soul playing Clockenflap is a lifesaver for Hip Hop fans as the last Clockenflap in May had the Wu-Tang Clan and it was one of the best things to happen to Asian Hip Hop in years. When the initial lineup came out and it didn’t have a legacy Hip Hop act on the bill, we were a bit worried. But getting De La to close out the show the way the Wu-Tang Clan did would be perfection for Clockenflap.
