Clockenflap re-energizes Hong Kong with perfect weather & amazing music [Gallery]

LiFTED was there to cover it all

For the past four years, life has been rough for music lovers in Hong Kong. With protests and the pandemic shutting down Clockenflap, organizers soldiered through and put on the best festival they’ve ever done at the beginning of March. Like how it feels to rip the mask off one’s face after hours of wearing it, Clockenflap represented the freedom of dancing in public and seeing the live shows of artists that had never made it to Hong Kong before.

YoungQueenz ripped it up on the festival’s first day. Tyson Yoshi showed onstage why he’s tapped to be the next superstar. FKJ did all the amazing things that FKJ does. Sister Nancy is a legend and at 60 showed the power of being in the business for 40 years. And Wu-Tang Wu-Tang Wu-Tang. The festival was properly closed out by the OG Rap group going full circle and playing in Hong Kong for the first time ever.

Clockenflap was so good this year, they are running it back in the first weekend on December to make up for lost time.
