One of the biggest things that Hip Hop as a whole teaches is to not be afraid of trying something different. 2MDIE and MC Sey, two dope MCs, are game as they drop a Cambodian Afrobeats summer jam, ‘Cha Cha Cha,’ that sounds exactly what summer 2025 should sound like.

‘Cha Cha Cha’ has a smooth beat by Teeya, and it feels like the waves breaking on the beach as both MCs take a laid-back approach to their verses. They have collaborated before on the posse cut ‘LOKO’ with Really Jing and S.A.N.E., and since it was so good, they are at it again.

For the video, the whole B-Side Khrew went to the island of Koh Sdach and hung out at the Mad Monkey Resort, a place known for a good time all over Asia. As soon as the homies arrive in paradise, romance blossoms, only to be revealed as a dream by the end of the video. While the video isn’t reality, the song will be making real waves all summer long in 2025.
