What sets LEX apart is how effortlessly he blends vulnerability with bravado. One moment he’s talking about money, cars, and status, the next he’s unpacking loneliness, pressure, and the weight of expectations that come with rising fast in the public eye from a young age. 最初にヒップホップに惹かれたきっかけは何でしたか？音楽を作り始めた理由を教えてください。

Ever since I was born — even when I was still in my mother’s womb — there was always music playing around me. I don’t know exactly when I fell in love with Hip Hop, but regardless of genre, I’ve been aware of music and sound since I was very young.

生まれた頃から、いやお腹の中にいた頃から常に音楽が流れていて、どこからヒップホップを好きになったのかは分からないけど、ジャンルはともかく音としては小さい頃から認識していました。

I think I started making music when I was around 15 years old.

音楽を作り始めたのは15歳くらいだと思います。

かなり若い年齢で一気に注目を集めましたが、若くしてスポットライトを浴びる中で学んだことは何ですか？

The most important thing I learned is to never forget gratitude.

常に感謝の気持ちを忘れないこと。

In my teens, I acted foolish on social media and sometimes made fun of people. What I gained from that was only temporary success.

10代の頃はソーシャルメディアで馬鹿なフリをしたり誰かを馬鹿にしたりしてきたけど、そこから得られたものは一時的な成功でした。

これまで神奈川という場所は、あなたの音楽にどんな影響を与えてきましたか？

Everything.

全てです。

The words I use, the themes I sing about, my personality — all of it was given to me by my hometown.

自分が使う言葉、歌う内容、性格、その全部は地元から授かったものです。

妹のLANAもヒップホップに関わっていますが、その流れはどのように生まれたのでしょうか？家族と一緒にコラボレーションすることについて、どんな気持ちですか？

LANA is an incredibly iconic artist with tremendous talent.

LANAはすごくアイコニックなアーティストで、才能が凄くあります。

We clearly separate family time from stage time.

お互いに家族の時間とステージの時間はきちんと使い分けています。

あなたにとっての“ラップ・ゴッド”トップ5は誰ですか？その理由も教えてください。

Honestly, I can’t rank a top five.

正直、トップ5を決めることはできません。

When you consider PR, performance, lifestyle, and skill altogether, it’s too complex to narrow it down like that.

PR、パフォーマンス、ライフスタイル、スキルなど、総合的に考えるととても難しいです。

より内省的なスタイルになったきっかけは何ですか？

きっかけは、USの本場の音楽や環境に実際に触れたことかもしれません。
It may have started when I experienced authentic U.S. music and culture firsthand.

I thought I grew up in a tough environment, but my friends in the U.S. grew up in even harsher circumstances and yet they still smile and seem happy.

自分は厳しい環境で育ったと思っていましたが、アメリカの友達はもっと厳しい環境で育っていて、それでも幸せそうに笑っています。

When I saw people who were homeless yet still looked genuinely happy, I realized how fortunate I truly am.

ホームレスで家がなくても幸せそうにしている人を見たとき、自分がどれだけ幸せか気づきました。

「億万長者」について教えてください。

When I seriously started focusing on singing instead of rapping, I discovered many challenges.ラップではなく真剣に歌に向き合うと、たくさんの課題が見えてきました。

I realized I wasn’t truly singing yet. I hadn’t even reached the starting line, so I’ve been practicing a lot.

自分はまだ歌えていない、スタート地点にも立っていないと気づき、たくさん練習しています。

As I kept asking myself what kind of singing style only I could create, a beautiful song like “Okuman Choja [Billionaire]” was born.

歌の世界で自分にしかできない歌い方は何だろうと考え続けた結果、「億万長者」のような曲が生まれました。

Little by little, I feel like I’m beginning to find my own unique voice.

少しずつ、自分の歌い方が見えてきた気がします。

もしラッパーになっていなかったら？

I’ve never worked under someone, so I’m not very good at taking orders.

誰かの下で働いたこともないし、人の命令を聞くのは苦手です。

By the time I was old enough to work, I was already touring the country, so honestly, I can’t imagine it at all.

仕事ができる年齢の頃には全国を回っていたので、正直まったく想像できません.

今後コラボしたいアーティストは？

One day, I would love to sing ‘Whisky Coke’ by Eikichi Yazawa.

いつか矢沢永吉さんの「ウィスキーコーク」を歌わせていただきたいです。

2026年の目標は？

I want to become someone like a light or the Sun for people across the country. I want to be someone who keeps standing back up, no matter how many times I fall.
