The shop has a full-size suspended bowl to skate

On March 23, Supreme opened its Shanghai flagship store at 291 Fumin Road. The streetwear brand had promised Asian expansion last year when it opened Supreme Seoul on August 19. Now, after many battles with counterfeit operations, Supreme has made it to China, and there’s even a full-sized suspended bowl for people to skate.

Inside the store, a lot of Supreme’s biggest images - Mike Tyson, Kate Moss, KAWS - dot the walls. With pieces by legends in the art industry like Mark Gonzales and Nate Lowman, Supreme is keeping to its skateboarding roots.

For many years, Supreme had huge problems in China with counterfeiters as a fake company had the exclusive trademark rights to the brand in China. This meant that fakes were on every street corner while the real Supreme was locked out of the biggest market in the world.

Now that this replica problem has been taken care of, one of the biggest streetwear companies in the world plans to make major moves with its Supreme shop in Shanghai.
