Since COVID-19, the Island of the Gods has been Bali-ing just a little bit harder. More DJs have been playing amazing sets all over the place. More rappers have been coming in and doing their thing. More festivals have been popping up making more people want to visit.

From July 26 to July 29, the SUARA Music & Arts Festival is happening in Nuanu City, a place that will bring together a multitude of acts across nine stages in a first for this part of the world at a site that most event producers could only dream of. LiFTED got the call to curate the main stage for a few hours on July 27, so we put in the word and booked RAMENGVRL and Yung Raja to show off their talents at SUARA.

Besides being two of Asian Hip Hop’s biggest artists individually, the MCs from Indonesia and Singapore got together a year ago for ‘Ming Ling,’ which showed off their individual skills and also their comedy chops.

Besides RAMENGVRL and Yung Raja, the lineup is very diverse with headliners Angus & Julia Stone from Australia. LiFTED recommends good friends DJ Wordy, the Yeti Out Crew, as well as Disko Afrika as must-see acts at SUARA.
