ShyboiiTobii & Wuuslime channel the Opium aesthetic on ‘GIORDANO’

A vibe-driven journey of rumbling basslines & glitchy electronic textures

With their new single ‘GIORDANO,’ South Korean rappers ShyboiiTobii and Wuuslime take a confident step into the hazy, distorted world of Playboi Carti’s Opium sound and make it their own. Pulled from their joint EP Bookkyungbamjeom, the track feels like a party set on fire by rumbling basslines and glitchy electronic textures.

The production is a clear nod to Carti’s album Whole Lotta Red. It is menacing, bass-heavy, and brimming with distortion, giving the track a grimy edge. But there’s a twist. ShyboiiTobii and Wuuslime bring in an Electro-Pop sheen that makes the chaos more digestible. The track stays raw without losing its accessibility.

Vocally, both rappers lean fully into the mumble flow that Carti and his crew are known for. The delivery is loose, slippery, and hypnotic, carrying an energy that feels designed for the late-night hours when the club lights blur and the bass rattles the floor. What sounds unintelligible in fragments becomes a vibe-driven journey, where tone and rhythm matter just as much as the words themselves.

‘GIORDANO’ is a playful homage and proof of how global the Carti-inspired wave has become, stretching from Atlanta all the way to Seoul. ShyboiiTobii and Wuuslime clearly understand the assignment: keep it weird, loud, and most importantly, fun.
