Philippines drift: Gaspari, SCOOP DOGG, HELLMERRY & Flow G powerslide it up on ‘ROLLIN’
Four lanes of traffic all headed the same way
From low-riders bouncing to G-Funk in California, to riding slow and loud in Texas, to hanging out the window while drifting in The Bay, Hip Hop and car culture have always been inseparable. Wherever the music travels, the cars come with it. In the Philippines, Gaspari, SCOOP DOGG, HELLMERRY, and Flow G take the wheel with ‘ROLLIN’—a powerslide of bars and horsepower.
With sly nods to Huey’s ‘Pop, Lock & Drop It,’ the Old Kanye’s ‘Jesus Walks,’ and even Limp Bizkit’s nu-metal anthem ‘Rollin,’ this Filipino edition is a slow-burn heater. Each MC pulls up with their own G’d-out flavor, spitting verses on, in, or next to some seriously fly rides. The contrast in styles gives the track its bite—four lanes of traffic all headed the same way.
The video takes the obsession further, blending live action with CGI for impossible angles and adrenaline-fueled effects. Rappers shoot dice for car keys, drift through neon-lit cityscapes, and flex rides that blur the line between fantasy and reality. The CGI is so tight it feels as slick as the cars themselves, with shots drones could never dream of.
‘ROLLIN’ is more than just another rap video about cars—it’s proof that the love of rides transcends borders. Gaspari, SCOOP DOGG, HELLMERRY, and Flow G keep Hip Hop’s wheels spinning, making sure the global obsession with music and machines stays firmly in drive.
