It’s Megan May, and we’re all just witnesses. As part of her new album rollout, Megan Thee Stallion floats over The Far East Movement’s ‘Like a G6’ beat in her latest #MeganMonday Instagram post. The Houston hottie is on tour with GloRilla, she’s dropping freestyles each week, and she has just dropped her latest album, Boa, on May 10.

The Far East Movement’s seminal bottle-poppin’ anthem, released in 2009, still gets run in today’s clubs. The song was the first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for an Asian American group, and it topped the chart for three non-consecutive weeks. When people hear that mean Cataracts bassline, they still scream like it was the Aughts.

Megan does her thing over the beat because she is in a place where she is unf*ckwithable. Her rhymes are so dope that she starts it off by giving a shout out to Three 6 Mafia, talks sh*t about incles in the middle, and ends it by saying she’s got the “best pen in the game.” While that’s debatable, Megan Thee Stallion is definitely at the top of her lane right now.
