This week has been a busy one in Indian Hip Hop. Rolling Loud India announced two days of Hip Hop acts coming to Mumbai in late November. Now, Lollapalooza has announced its lineup for January 24 and 25 at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse, which is heavy on Rage Rap.

Playboi Carti is one of the leaders of the new school of Rage Rap. He’s got an eccentric vocal style that is dubbed mumbly by the haters and deep by his fans. He puts on a high energy show and focuses on talking to the young generation of Hip Hop fans. Carti is bringing along his crew for the show, including his protege-turned-headliner, Ken Carson, rising star Destroy Lonely, as well as the Homixide Crew, straight from the underground of Atlanta.

A few other big acts with Hip Hop bonafides are LINKIN Park, Kehlani, and MXRCI, a producer who has made beats for Sidhu Moose Walla and Karan Aujla, as well as Pho, an emotional storyteller with a reputation for incredible live performances.
