The PMPC Star Awards were handed out on October 27, and two of Asintada’s finest, Gloc-9 and Flow G, took home some beautiful hardware for their shelves. Gloc-9 won two awards, Rap Album of the Year for PILAK, and Collaboration of the Year with Gary Valenciano for ‘WALANG PUMAPALAKPAK.’ Gary Valenciano, known as Mr. Pure Energy, also took home the Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award as he was honored by everyone in the building.

Flow G won his award for Rap Artist of the Year. This celebrated his amazing year after collabing with CHITO MIRANDA on ‘KASMA’ and Skusta Clee on ‘Laya.’ One of his biggest singles of the last 365 days was ‘Business Talk’ where he gave out his contacts in case anyone wanted to book him, which is a pretty damn good business move. Flow G has also been on the move the whole year as he’s been traveling a lot and even getting on the card for Akon’s Superfan Tour.
