Nine years ago, ‘Baby Shark’ dropped on the Internet and exploded like a hungry animal looking for its prey in the ocean. With over 16 BILLION views, the kid’s song has been seen by everyone on the planet–TWICE! It also proves that the market for kid’s music is insane.
As an enterprising entrepreneur, Snoop Dogg saw the value of kid’s music and created Doggyland, a 3D animated series aimed at toddlers, preschoolers, and kids of all ages. The five main characters, Bow Wizzle, Wags, Chow Wow, Yap Yap, and Barks-A-Locks, sing, dance, and even help with emotional development. This summer, a live version of Doggyland is coming to Bangkok.
On July 18 and 19, Doggyland Live! will transform the 7th floor of the ICONSIAM Hall into a full experience with free dance areas, a Mom & Kids market, and children activity zones. There is even a meet and greet with the characters for those wanting the full Dogg VIP packages.
The big question is will Snoop show up and drop some rhymes for the kids? From the looks of the promotional material, a Snoop performance is not mentioned, so its highly doubtful. For those looking to revisit their 90’s glory days, they may only get the character Bow Wizzle instead of the D O Double G.
