DIVINE & Karan Aujla kick off 2024 with a mega collaboration via ‘100 Million’
The two Indian giants go hard on this take
DIVINE and Karan Aujla are two Indian MCs who are at the top of their game right now. DIVINE is the head honcho of Gully Gang Records, has had his name up on the billboards of Times Square, and even has a Bollywood movie inspired by his life. Karan has been charting the charts consistently, has his own clothing brand, and most recently, had his track remixed by Tiësto.
It only made sense when the two MCs came together for their newest single ‘100 Million.’ It was released on January 18, and is distributed through Mass Appeal India. DIVINE opens the track up with the hook before Karan takes the honors of the first verse. The instrumentation brings about an early 2000s G-Unit vibe, and Karan glides through it with his silky flow.
DIVINE absolutely bodies his verse as well. He drops his bars in a bilingual fashion, switching between Hindi and English effortlessly. ‘100 Million’ is a fantastic blend of the old school and new school sound, while showcasing the MCs’ respective sounds. It’s the 2024 version of 50 Cent and The Game’s iconic ‘Hate It or Love It’.
