India is the most populous country in the world, so it’s only right that it has a lot of good rappers doing their thing. Brodha V has consistently been putting out good music and collabs for more than two decades. On December 6, he released his latest record, ‘D.A.T.N’ with Paal Dabba.

The song and video have a Y3K feel. The beat, produced by Brodha V, is retro in a futuristic way. The video is a glitchy, cyberpunk, AI-driven journey to rooftop dance battles and MCs spitting at the highest level.

In Brodha V’s X bio, he calls himself a rapper, producer, and a part-time god. On his ‘D.A.T.N’ verse, he proves the latter as he calls himself the real face of Indian Rap, and drops some hot lines to end his first verse, “When I'm in my element/Reveling in the glory of making you feel irrelevant/The melanin bringing out the elegance of developing medicine/Cooking up a regimen/And pushing limits of intelligence.”

While Brodha V raps in English and Hindi, Paal Dabba brings his own mongoose energy to the song in Tamil. The combo makes everyone dance away the night.
