When it comes to opening lines in Rap tracks, Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ asks a solemn question, “If you had one shot or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment, would you capture it or just let it slip?” This moment has come for Hanumankind as his song and video, ‘Big Dawgs,’ is blowing up all around the world.
The most recent big use of it is on the San Francisco 49ers’ Instagram as the backing track for the fans to get hype for this season of the NFL. It’s one thing when a person uses the song for a backing track. It’s another when some big name like Lebron James posts a song. But it’s a whole different thing when it is a coordinated effort with a team that is a Super Bowl contender. The stakes and views are much much higher.
Besides the song being used for the NFL, ‘Big Dawgs’ also got more plays than Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ and Eminem’s ‘Houdini’ recently on Billboard’s Global 200. This has led Hanumankind to get a prime slot at India’s Lollapalooza 2025 and he’s getting more shine in the poster for his upcoming film Rifle Club.
In a few years’ time, when people think about opening lines to songs, they will reference what Hanumankind has done on ‘Big Dawgs’ by saying "Wait a minute/Get it how you live it.”
