Just a little over two weeks ago at the first-ever Breaking event at the Asian games, Japanese B-girl Ami lost to China’s 671 in the finals. Also in second place was Korea’s Hong 10, who lost out to Japan’s Shigekix.

What a difference 16 days makes.

At the Red Bull’s BC One World Finals in Paris, France, both Hong 10 and Ami won world titles, Hong10 for the third time, and Ami for the second. Both will be heavy favorites to win gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Ami got her revenge as she battled 671 in the finals and won. Hong 10 beat Canada’s Phil Wizard in his final match.
