Korea’s Show Me the Money [SMTM] was out to prove a point when it started–there’s more to Korean music than idols. From 2012 to 2022, the annual Hip Hop reality show made Swings, Mad Clown, Nucksal, Hangzoo, BewhY, Woo, and many more household names.

After a three-year hiatus, the show is making its return for MNET’s 30th anniversary and is now accepting applications. Building on its legacy, there is an open submission period from now until September 26, when the judges will begin whittling down the contestants. For season 11, there were more than 30,000 submissions, and this year is expected to be even bigger.

While judges and contestants have yet to be decided, to get fans hyped up, SMTM released a teaser as well as a ‘SMTM 2025 Cypher’ remix from Superbee. The video is generating a lot of interest from wanna-be contestants as well as the general public that wants to know who is going to be Korea’s next Hip Hop superstar.
