The winter in Mongolia is close to unbearable. It gets as cold as -40° C and being outside for even a short amount of time becomes dangerous. It looks like Mongolian Hip Hop queen Mrs M has been keeping warm this winter by making house music. Her latest release, ‘Midnight,’ has classic House vibes with big vocals and that infectious four-on-the-floor sound.

‘Midnight’ feels like it would mix perfectly in a throwback House set with Robin S.’s ‘Show Me Love,’ CeCe Peniston’s ‘Finally,’ M People’s ‘Moving on Up,’ or Crystal Water’s ‘100% Pure Love,’ especially for the midnight reference [“It’s 12 past midnight.”] Even though Mrs M is whisper rapping through part of it, the vocal still sounds big and makes even the shyest wallflower want to move.

In the video, Mrs M dons her typical oversized stunna shades and gets to grooving. She’s showing her creative side here by trying something a little out of her comfort zone, but that’s why she’s a queen. She can put out a song that is totally out of her normal pocket, and still heat up those frigid Mongolian nights.
