It’s MILLI vs ATARASHII GAKKO! on ‘ARMSTRONG’ to see who is strong, strong, strong

A battle between the Thai Thai Nang Kwak & Japanese Maneki Neko

MILLI has been around promoting her second album, HEAVYWEIGHT, in many ways. She’s headlined concerts, she’s been on Tuk Tuk Radio, and she’s even linked up with ATARASHII GAKKO! for ‘ARMSTRONG.’ During her recent collab with NIKE BY YOU, where MILLI is a Brand Ambassador, MILLI was animated and put to the test in the 3D version of ‘ARMSTRONG.’

In the visualizer, MILLI is the Thai Nang Kwak, the goddess of Thai folklore who seems to bring luck and prosperity to merchants and salespeople. On the other side, ATARASHII GAKKO! have been animated into Japanese Maneki Neko, also called the beckoning cat in English. These calico Japanese bobtail cats have one or both hands up in the air trying to bring in good luck or fortune to stores or businesses.

The battle between the Thai Thai Nang Kwak and Japanese Maneki Neko is a win-win for everyone because both of the deities are strong, strong, strong. ‘ARMSTRONG’ feels like it would be a perfect song for a Zumba or other kind of exercise class to get people moving. NIKE has perfected it by adding some amazing visuals on top.
