Japanese girl group HANA is bigger than Fuji on ‘NON STOP’

Chanmina has had a big part in the 7-member group’s success

Earlier in 2025, more than 7,000 Japanese women auditioned for No No Girls, a survival show produced by Japanese–South Korean rap powerhouse ちゃんみな Chanmina, BMSG, and Sony Music Japan. The goal was simple but ambitious—redefine J-Pop by injecting it with real Hip Hop energy. The result was HANA, a seven-member collective primed to become the next major force in Japanese music. They debuted with ‘Rose,’ followed with ‘Blue Jeans,’ and now they’re back with their strongest release yet, ‘NON STOP.’

Members Chika, Naoko, Jisoo, Yuri, Momoka, Koharu, and Mahina represent what happens when an inventive artist and heavyweight labels pool their vision and resources. ‘NON STOP’ sits comfortably in the J-Pop lane, but it also hints at where J-Hop could go next as a high-gloss fusion of styles, rhythms, and cinematic flair.

Each member gets her own spotlight scene, but the group choreography ties it all together with precision and polish. The boldest flex? Comparing themselves to Mt. Fuji and declaring they’re even bigger. HANA is fearless, fresh, and exactly what modern Pop machinery dreams of creating.
