Hip Hop music is best seen live. When an MC moves the crowd, it’s unlike any other feeling in the world. Whether it’s a coffee shop holding an open mic event or a huge festival with tens of thousands of fans, rapping along to a favorite rapper standing right in front of you just can’t be beat.

Rolling Loud is penetrating Asia by doing shows in Thailand and India now. Lollapalooza India is in its fourth year in India, and the word on the street is that they are sniffing around other Asian locals for a suitable location.

The big brands are killing it, but what about homegrown festivals that want to get their names known? They need to do what the Force Festival in Japan is doing on October 3 and 4 at the Yokohama Arena. They have invited the A-list of rappers as well as local superstars to fill up their lineup that rivals Rolling Loud and Lollapalooza. Day 1 features Central Cee and Sexy Red on the top of the bill as well as locals like ¥ellow Bucks and Lex. Day 2 brings Future to Japan as the headliner, and then a lot of good music like Metro Boomin, Latto, Polo G, Rae Sremmurd, as well as Yzerr, Awich, and JP The Wavy for local Hip Hop heroes.

The Force Festival will be something to reckon with because of this incredible Hip Hop lineup.
