Yung Sammy gets on The 50 & raps with BBB on ‘AUR CHAHIYE’
The rapper is making his reality TV debut while keeping the music coming
Yung Sammy is stepping into new arenas in 2026. The rising MC recently revealed on Instagram that he’s secured a spot on The 50, a mysterious new Indian reality TV show set to premiere on February 1. It marks the first time Sammy has appeared on a reality series, and it’s a major look for an artist who has been steadily building his name through music rather than mainstream television.
The 50 brings together a diverse cast of internet personalities, music industry figures, and former Bigg Boss contestants. What sets the show apart is its unusual structure. The competition is overseen by The Lion, a masked, Squid Game–style master who puts contestants through intense physical, mental, and emotional challenges. With no fixed rules and constant twists, alliances can shift instantly and survival depends on adaptability as much as popularity.
Coming from the underground Rap world, Sammy enters as something of an outsider, but that may also be his biggest advantage. His authenticity, discipline, and calm confidence could translate well in a format designed to test pressure and personality. Regardless of how far he goes, being on the show introduces him to a massive new audience outside the Hip Hop ecosystem.
While preparing for his TV debut, Sammy hasn’t slowed down musically. He just dropped ‘AUR CHAHIYE’ alongside longtime collaborator BBB, with production handled by WAMP. The track carries a moody, late-night atmosphere, built on subdued tones and emotional restraint. BBB glides smoothly across the beat, while Sammy switches the energy with a more playful cadence that balances the song perfectly.
The black-and-white visuals reinforce the track’s melancholy aesthetic, creating a clean, focused mood that lets the performances speak for themselves. With reality TV exposure on one side and consistent musical output on the other, Yung Sammy is expanding his reach beyond the mic.
