Wish Music Awards celebrates 10 years
The popular Filipino radio station had its biggest event yet
At only 10 years in the game, Wish 107.5 is an influential part of the Filipino music community. The radio station started in 2014 and now has the Wish Bus, a music vehicle where artists perform, as well as recorded performances instantly accessible online.
On January 19, the Wish Music Awards were held at the Araneta Coliseum. While P-Pop was the big winner, Filipino Hip Hop still had some bright flourishes. apl.de.ap from the Black Eyed Peas was recognized as the KDR Icon of Music and Philanthropy for opening the Apl.de.Ap Foundation International which gives back to children and the community.
