Even when the biggest band in the world, BTS, is taking a break and doing mandatory military service, the members are still setting records. Suga put out an album recently called D-Day under the pseudonym Agust D. Everyone knew it was him, so they flocked to their streaming services to hear what the album sounded like and now it’s set a bunch of records.

When the album entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at 2 [behind country singer Morgan Wallen], it equaled Suga’s bandmate Jimin as the highest-ranking Korean album on the chart. What’s even more special is that Agust D is the first Asian artist to reach number 1 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart.

D-Day topped three other album charts - the World Albums chart, Top Album Sales chart, and Top Current Album Sales chart. His single from the album, ‘Haegeum,’ landed at number 58 on the Billboard’s Top 100.

While BTS is doing their military service, their Army is doing the band right by listening to and playing their songs at all times. The tour when they finish is going to be as crazy as it gets.
