Rich Brian makes his return with a ‘Tear’ in his eye
88rising’s franchise player is a bit sad & lonely when it comes to thinking about his ex
Almost a year ago, Rich Brian put out his album Where is My Head, and one of the strongest songs on it was the bouncy ‘Jumpy’ with Ski Mask the Slump God. Some of the other work was more guitar and singer/songwriter centered.
That is the same direction Rich Brian is going with his latest single, ‘Tear,’ which he also produced. ‘Tear’ tries to uncover that delicate period after someone breaks up but still wants to be friends. It’s a complex time when you are still in love, but you both know it’s not right to be together.
With a waterfall streaming out of his eyes no matter what he’s doing, Rich Brian seems to be just trying to get by in the video for ‘Tear.’ Whether he’s painting a picture or getting a fresh fade, Rich Brian is in a melancholy mood because he can’t seem to stop thinking about his ex.
