The competition is even tougher the second time around
Each year, as Asian Hip Hop keeps exploding from the streets of Bangkok to the nightclubs in New Delhi, more and more people get involved. This is outstanding because any scene is kept alive by its new blood, and there are a lot of fresh faces making the right kind of noise in Asian Hip Hop.
The LiFTED staff has spent countless hours looking at old lists, rummaging over social media numbers, checking all the articles we have written, and most of all, listening to dope music to come up with the definitive rankings of the top MCs in Asian Hip Hop.
On June 20, LiFTED will unveil the 2023 version of the LiFTED 50. There are 18 new entries, so fresh MCs are everywhere. Who moved up the most? Who dropped down? Who dropped off? You’ll have to wait until June 20 to find out, but it’s going to be a thrilling day for sure.
