MQT SQUAD channel their inner Boyz II Men on ‘หน้าหนาว’
The Thai collective gets down with a slow jam
It’s summer all year round in Thailand, and that has to be one of the biggest contributing factors as to why it’s called the Land of Smiles, but that doesn’t mean artists can’t make cold tunes. Enter MQT SQUAD’s ‘หน้าหนาว’, which loosely translates to Winter.
The featured MCs on it include Suriya MQT, Fatboii MQT, 2K, and Jakkaphat MQ, who channel their inner Boyz II Men on this take. The quartet takes turns to sing and spit some rhymes in true slow jam fashion, each of them bringing about their own individual flavors to it.
It’s the sort of track you’d put on when you’re kicking back with someone special at home, or on a long drive back at night. There are no frills on ‘หน้าหนาว’, no overly-cheesy sounds either – just straight smooth waves to bring it all back.
