MaSiWei has reached the mountaintop, and now he’s choosing his next move. On his latest single, ‘TO,’ the Higher Brothers frontman trades flexing for reflection, digging deep into his bag of introspection and dropping life philosophy with the calm confidence of someone who’s already won.

For years, MaSiWei has been the de facto leader of Higher Brothers, China’s most successful Hip Hop group alongside Psy. P, KnowKnow, and Melo. While the crew still reunites for big moments, like last year’s Head in the Clouds Festival, most members are now firmly in their solo eras. On ‘TO,’ MaSiWei steps fully into that lane, speaking directly to the next generation. In the second verse, he dubs himself Master Ma, reflecting on his lottery life, the sweetness of success, and the rewards that come with discipline.

The video mirrors the song’s reflective tone. Set in a winter wonderland, MaSiWei moves through snowy scenes in fur coats and skull caps, exuding quiet authority. One standout moment features him with a white horse, perfectly timed for the Lunar New Year, symbolizing renewal and direction. In other shots, he’s back in the studio, reminding the kids that even at the top, the discipline of work never stops.

On ‘TO,’ MaSiWei isn’t chasing trends or trophies. He’s taking stock, spitting game, and showing what it looks like when a superstar evolves into a master.
