As President of League of Legends, an online team battle game, Lil Nas X will be performing on November 5 for the opening ceremony for the World Championships, making the theme song, and performing at the closing ceremony. One of his jobs as president is to get attention by putting out press releases about upcoming shows. On October 27, he released an urgent message about Jackson Wang.

“It has come to my attention that our Worlds Opening Ceremony needed more fire,” Lil Nas X tweeted. “That’s why I’ve called in an expert to advise. Everyone welcome JACKSON WANG to the League of Legends family! With his magic [see what I did there?] and my genius brain, we will make this year’s performance an unforgettable experience.”

Other performers include Edda Hayes and Louis Leibfried who are expected to sing the theme song to this year’s League of Legends cinematic, ‘The Call.”

Jackson has been on fire in 2022. He’s been on his Magic Man grind playing everywhere from Coachella to Head in the Clouds to Thailand for the Bangkok Century Cup. He’s also been involved with Esports for a while as he headlined the Honor of Kings Champions Cup in 2020 and has invested in Victory Five, an Esports team from China.
