Khantrast brings runway vibes & a Jersey Club bounce to ‘Serve’

Fashion, flirtation & an infectious energy collide

As Khantrast eyes up the racks inside Vintage Archives, the clerk casually asks, "Need any help?" A follow-up of "Do you want to try that one?" is all it takes for his confidence to disappear. Instead of playing the untouchable cool guy, Khantrast leans into his awkward charm, fumbling his words in front of a beautiful woman. It's a relatable moment that gives 'Serve' plenty of personality.

Produced by Mad Young, who has collaborated with Khantrast on previous releases, 'Serve' blends sharp '80s-inspired synth stabs, crisp handclaps, and a Lo-Fi Jersey Club bounce. It's an unconventional backdrop, but Khantrast has built a reputation for making unexpected production sound effortless, gliding across the beat with confidence.

The energy ramps up as five of Khantrast's friends turn the clothing store into an impromptu runway. Their fashion-show antics match the song's playful spirit, while repeated chants of "Pose" nod to Ballroom culture as dancers break into voguing and duckwalking.
